Robert de Fleuriot – Group Accountant

Robert de Fleuriot is a Fellow Associate Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (UK & MRU). He started his career as auditor with De Chazal Du Mée & Co., a Mauritian accounting firm. In 1975, he joined Compagnie Sucrière de Bel Ombre, operating in the sugar sector, where he held various positions within the Finance Department. In 1987, he joined the Union Group, a diversified sugar-related conglomerate, as Corporate Finance & Chief Finance Officer. In 2008, Robert took employment with FORGES TARDIEU Group as Group Accountant, a position which he currently holds.

Kreshan Bucktowar – Head of Projects

Kreshan Bucktowar holds a BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a post-graduate diploma in Project Management from the UK. He started his career as Maintenance Manager for the country’s largest protective clothing and equipment manufacturer, Gumboots Manufacturers Ltd. He subsequently joined FORGES TARDIEU in 1994, where he held various positions within the Company’s project management team. In 2006, he was promoted Senior Project Manager for all local and international project realisations. Kreshan currently holds the position of Head – Projects – Sugar.

Oswaldo Beguinot – Design Manager

Oswaldo Beguinot holds a Maters in Engineering Business Management from WMG, University of Warwick and a B.Eng in Manufacturing Engineering from The University of Mauritius. Oswaldo worked for 13 years in the project engineering field, and has been involved in various sugar factory expansion and sugar refinery installation projects on the African continent. Oswaldo first joined FORGES TARDIEU in 2001 as design engineer. Over the past years he has successfully held several positions within that department until February 015 when he was promoted to the position of Design Manager.

Yasser Salamut – Proposal Manager

Yasser Salamut holds an MBA with specialization in marketing together with a B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, both awarded by the University of Mauritius. He started his career with Advance Space Structures Ltd in 2002 ,as junior engineer before joining FORGES TARDIEU in August 2007 as Project Administrator. In 2009, Yasser took a new professional challenge this time within the Proposal department as Proposal Engineer.  As from April 015, Yasser Salamut holds the position of Proposal Manager.

Jean Pascal Volbert – Safety and Health Manager

Jean Pascal Volbert is a corporate member of the Institution Occupational Safety and Health Management (IOSHM). He is a lead auditor in OHSAS 18001:2007 certified by IRCA and holds a bachelor of science in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Mauritius (UOM). His professional exposure and experience resulted from the Construction sector (Civil engineering & building works, Heavy & Light Mechanical Engineering), Civil Aviation, Marine & Ports, Hospitality, Food & Catering and Manufacturing sector. He started as Patrol and Security Officer in the Civil Aviation at Airport of Rodrigues Ltd and later moved to Mauritius where he worked as Part-Time Safety & Health Officer/Consultant for several companies: ENL Lifestyle, Tornado Ltd subsidiary of Manser Saxon, multinational Afcons Infrastructure Ltd of India, Plumbelec Ltd, Ernst & Young, JL Air Conditioning Ltd, Kurjibhai Ramji Group, Princes Tuna (Mtius) Ltd , Premixed Concrete Ltd and DryMixed Products Ltd. He joined Forges Tardieu Group in 2010 and currently holds the position of Safety and Health Manager.

Christophe Margéot – Procurement & Logistics Manager

Christophe is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa and has joined the procurement team of Forges Tardieu since 2015. He has spent most of his working career in the purchasing domain, previously specializing in the contracting of projects for the metal and mineral processing industry. Fabrication and installation of thickener tanks, grinding mills and sinter plants for copper and manganese were his main product lines. Christophe has worked on Capex projects In South Africa, Namibia, Congo, Zambia and Mozambique.
